This service includes:

8+ career development workshops in person at the University of Waterloo or online via video call

A direct line of access to an industry professional (your mentor) - students and mentors communicate via text/slack as often as it's needed

At least 10 one-on-one calls with your mentor to discuss career strategy, specific career-building skills/methods, or other mentorship-related topics

Length: 8 months (1 school & 1 coop term)

We partner you with an active industry professional, who was a top University of Waterloo alumni (top marks, top coops, top evaluations, etc.).
Your mentor is there to work with you and walk through everything you as a University of Waterloo student need to know and take action on to maximize your growth and career trajectory! Think of it as a "speed-dial" to a professional who's done what you're going through now and has excelled in every aspect of it! This person is now committed to your growth!
This program will let you walk away with a practical understanding of the current work environment beyond university, paired with a clear career action plan specific to your goals and values! Mentors will work with you to clearly show actions you can take to maximize your university experience while setting you up for high-trajectory career growth!
